Flower Of Maryam also known as the Chaste Tree or Palm Of Mary is a shrub that is well known  in the middle east and asian countries as it has derived from ancient times in the use of child birth and has been attested in helping with dilation and ease of child birth. The Flower of Maryams scientific name is Anastatica hierochuntica, it is a small shrub collected across North Africa, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Pakistan, and among its most popular medicinal uses is its application it is used for childbirth either for its medicinal properties to encourage dilation, or as a powerful visualization tool for mothers during labour, traditional midwives have used the Flower of Maryam with labouring mothers for hundreds of years. The name suggests its religious significance to the Mother of Esa A.S hence why its called the flower of Maryam, it is also known as the hand of Fatima (daughter of the Prophet ﷺ), as well as the resurrection plant.
